Anyway, there is a site, like Amazon called the book depository but all shipping if free WORLDWIDE and many of the books are cheaper than Amazon. I tend to search Amazon and check the reviews then order from the book depository...
http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE/WWW/WEBPAGES/homepage.php

I also recommend asking other ex-pats if they know of any foreign food shops, we have some odd quirky ones which are hidden in the basement of shopping malls etc. that I would never have stumbled upon. In fact we had been living here for 3 years before I found out about one of them! The stuff tends to be more expensive but when you are having one of those 'what the hell am i doing here days' and you NEED a big bar of your favourite whatever, it is good to know where to get it! Other ex-pats might know of local websites too, we have a couple of places that import foreign food/goods.

That cheese post made me soooo jealous, cheese here is rubbish :o(jojoebi-designshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17585345777385016260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-593772661578446066.post-88534343880283751562008-11-26T13:12:00.000-08:002008-11-26T13:12:00.000-08:00Wednesday evening here in southern Italy finds my ...Wednesday evening here in southern Italy finds my husband and daughter baking and apple pie for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and me...blogging!
