Happy Monday Morning!

We've been back in our house for just over 2 weeks now.  I think we've made excellent progress in setting up and organizing.  Naturally we still have a lot more to do.  I'm doing a lot of self talk these days, reminding myself that we'll get there; that we'll settle and find our rhythm here again.  Mostly, though, I am just riding the wave.  Can't control it, can't really make it easier; just have to hold on and trust you'll reach the shore.

Here are some things I've been distracting myself with lately.  Maybe you need some distraction too.
:: Ever since I saw the NYTimes article about the Gregory Brothers and their Auto-tuning and Songifying I've been hooked.  I bought their Songify app and the girls think it is the funniest thing ever! I do too.

:: I used up the last of my Clinique Happy and decided I should try something new.  I was going to ask you for recommendations but then found a post from a blogger who already did! Her readers left lots of suggestions.  But I'm still unsure what to try next.  However, I love the idea of spraying on some happy each morning.  I also like the idea of having a signature scent.  White Shoulders will always remind me of my Grandmother.  Think I just talked myself into another bottle of Happy.  Ha!

:: I just LOVE this wallpaper and the cleverness behind it.  It speaks to the 4th grade sticker collector in me.
:: Halloween fever has hit this house hard!  Actually it started about 3 weeks ago.  The girls have their costumes all settled.  We'll have a Velma this year and a Rapunzel.  I bought the Martha Stewart Halloween magazine and was instantly taken with the hedgehog pumpkins.  Also loved the accordion cat and pumpkin decorations.

:: This is the perfect end of summer album.  What are you listening to these days?

  3. oh those pumpkins would be perfect for australia- they look like Echidna's

enjoy the getting back into the swing of things. Most annoying I know but try to relish it as time to recalibrate yourself, house and family.
