My wonderful neighbor Michele was recently interviewed by Seattle's Child for an article about city chickens. The article's focus was on urban families with children who keep backyard chickens. Both of my girls love going over to visit Ruby, Michele's chicken, and have formed quite an affection towards her. Because of this, Michele invited us over to be part of the interview. The story is published in the June addition of Seattle's Child. I was thrilled to see it included a picture of my oldest daughter. You can read the article here. Today I'm off to the local coffee shops and library to secure a few copies of the magazine for safe keeping.

What a great, informative article. I have a good friend who really wants a chicken coop & I know she'll enjoy this.
The pic is great, too!
I heart Ruby!
That is a beautiful photo of Eva! Brandon was even inspired to start thinking chicken coop designs.
Great article. Chickens are very cool. I've been wanting to thank you, Katy, for your kind words of support on my blog the other day. They meant a lot. Especially from someone who is doing a better job than I of finding her balance.
Take care.
Great article! Now I can add chickens to the list of animals that I would love to add to our menagerie that Tom can veto!! The photo was great too!
