I'm looking forward to Muffin Tin Monday! If you're going to participate, leave me a comment before Monday and I'll include a link to your blog in my post. Can't wait!
Tech Help! I'd really like my blog banner to be taller *and* wider (so it reaches both sides of my blog). Can someone tell me how? Thanks!

Alas, your tech issue is fixable, but not easily. You would need to both make a larger graphic for your banner (not too hard to do) and to edit the HTML that is related to that area of your page. The latter is not too hard to do if you know what you're looking for, but too difficult to explain in a comment or E-mail.
Keep in mind, too, that what looks odd on your computer might look perfectly fine on another computer (and vice versa). I use three different computers (1 at work, 2 at home), and some of my blogs look great at work, but totally weird here. It all depends on monitor size, screen resolution, etc.
Okay, long winded way of saying it's fixable, but possibly not worth fixing. Ultimately, if you had a banner that was 660 pixels wide, I think it will look more centered, which may be what you want.
Yea! I'm so excited about Muffin Tin Monday! I'm planning on doing it, but may not get my pic up til Tuesday. When I was grocery shopping, I kept finding stuff and exclaiming, "This will be perfect for Muffin Tin Monday!" I'm sure people thought I was nuts. BFG can't wait to do it again. She keeps begging for it. LOL!
I'm planning for muffin tin monday--but I also might be a day or two late on the photo. We're at my grandparents' house and I've been scouting out their cute muffin tins!
I LOVE this idea!!! I really want to do it, but unfortunately even though I got all the stuff and I was all set to pull it off, I have to wait til next week... bummer. Can you explain how to link to the site? I only know how add a link when you click the words
about the banner - i started using flickr/picnik to create my banners. once i determined how many pixels wide my blog was (happens to be 900, but yours is smaller with two columns - dawn's recommendation of 660 sounds perfect), i just resize the picture i want to use to that width, crop the heighth, then add text. then simply cut and paste the url for the picture into your blog header. it used to take me FOREVER to create the right sized banner, now i can do it in minutes. good luck! looking forward to seeing more muffin tins monday.
Count me in for participating but being a late poster! We will be doing it for dinner on Monday since we will be out for lunch and Tom won't be home for dinner.
