Whaddya do?

What do you do the night before a 5 hour early morning flight with two children under age 5? Go see a concert of course . . .

NEIL!

Death Cab!

Best part? Watching my husband bask in Neil's glory. Seriously, it never gets old.

Thanks for all your well wishes on our move (and MTM's move.) When you read this I'll be on a flight to Hawaii for my sister's wedding. We'll hit the ground (Seattle ground) again around Halloween before we're off again. This time to Luxembourg. I'll check in when I can. I'm absolutely going to keep blogging. I love it. I'm guessing it'll take a while before my posts return to "make these cookies" from "OMG, I'm living in a foreign country and I can't speak French." Stick around things are sure to get interesting.

I have told you this before, but I am an American living overseas...and it has its challenges and fun moments... feel free to unload on me anytime, I will completely understand!

Hope you have lots of fun!

Relax about moving to Europe. You will learn the language- just keep trying. It seems to me that if you make an effort to speak the language (in your case French) locals are more willing to help you than if you assume that everyone understands English. Don't worry though! You'll do great! Think of all the new experiences you'll have! I know that Christmas in Austria and Germany is an experience I hope everyone gets to enjoy!!! (I'm serious...I can give you details if you're interested).

Have a happy time! :)

I should add that I've learned about trying to make an effort of speaking the local language from my own experiences while traveling (&living) through Europe (so...it's not just a guess!).
