Oh Christmas Tree

There is something so magical about decorating the Christmas tree. Here's some pretties from ours this year. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Had my first French lesson tonight. Bonjour, Je suis Katy. CommeNt allez- vous? Just a taste of my awkard French that I'll be sharing with you.

Slipped and fell down our icy front stairs yesterday.

We've moved on to Belgian beer and are looking for reccomendations!

I'm a good target for your beginner's French, as I studied it forever, but have difficulty speaking it and understanding it when spoken. Typed, however, I'm good. :)

My favorite Belgian adult beverages are lambachs (sp?), not beer, but I will be curious to hear about the beers there. We have heard of a bar in Belgium that serves over 2,000 different beers!

Your tree looks lovely! I know I've had wonderful Belgian beer...I just can't think of the name of it right now!

Great Tree! Just to be picky...it's actually commeNt allez-vous. Comment means how. Commet is a conjugated version of the verb faire meaning to make or to do. That is, if I remember my French lessons correctly.

I don't know anything about Belgian beer, but I have had some excellent Belgian chocolate. Yum.

Brandon's the "Beer Snob" around here...I'll see if he's got any ideas.
I'm not much of a beer drinker myself, but I'd be happy to come babysit so you and Bryce can visit all the THOUSANDS of microbreweries just a train ride away!

Ha! Let me know!

When I traveled in Belgium, all of the beer (and the chocolate, too!) was great. Have fun sampling...I don't think you can go wrong! And if you get a chance, visit Bruge.
