Here's to a peaceful 2009~
This is a calendar cake ( not sure of what it's called in French) it's eaten today, January 1st. Didn't buy one as we're dining at a playgroup family's house tonight.
We celebrated by eating at a quaint little fondue restaurant in the city center. Eva's dinner consisted of pommes frites and Audrey raided the salami platter. They both had sides of bread. I was loving the pink sparkling wine. Bryce cooked the steak, 3 skewers at a time. So he did alright too. The girls enjoyed running around the square, looking at the ice sculptures. It was a very pleasant evening. Bryce and I rang in the New Year watching Scarface. Say Hello to my little friend . . .what a bad ass. Pacino was incredible.
Hope you had an enjoyable evening as well.

and I did attempt to get on the computer at the appointed hour last night - but alas the laptop was acting up. So know you are not the only one :) We watched a movie too and are both exhausted today!
Happy New Year, bit of something for you over at my place...
