Burg Eltz

Burg Eltz
Day 2 with family saw us at Burg Eltz, an amazing castle 1.5 hours away from Luxembourg City. The castle and the landscape were very reminiscent of Neuschwanstein (where we were, coincidentally, last year.) As with Neuschwanstein we were impressed with the castle, but completely taken away with the gorgeous autumnal landscape. The yellows and oranges were indescribable. I think the highlight of the castle was the 1km trail we took back to the car park. Stunningly beautiful.

I'm really not trying to torture you with beauty, but day 3 . . .well, you'll be tortured. Just sayin'

So beautiful. One of these days, I am going to have to sit down and write down all the cool places from you blog to visit.

So lovely! I have to say you've missed a very beautiful Seattle fall this year. Maybe the best I've ever had.

Can't wait to hear about Paris...
Sheesh - my mom is taking safaris in Africa and my sis is taking a quick trip to Paris! what a fun family! Hoping we can all do a "trek" together soon...even if it involves margaritas at a swimming pool on the Kona side! missing my sister a lot this weekend.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Fall down here means rain and things start to green up after the summer scorching turned everything brown. I miss living in a place where the leaves change color in the Fall...thank you for transporting me there!
