Muffin Tin Monday

Happy Monday! We invited our neighbor over for this week's Muffin Tin Meal. There was plenty of food for everyone. Here's what they dined on:

Contents: Yellow pepper, hot dog, peas, cheddar cheese cubes, cherries, carrots, Snyder's Cheddar Cheese Pretzel Sandwiches, Vanilla Letter-of-the-day cookies, chocolate chip Bunny Grahams, Veggie Booty, turkey, strawberries

And now for the *EXCITING* news - We have a flickr group devoted to our Muffin Tin Meals. I thought it would be an easier way for us to see all the meals. My finger gets tired of all that clicking. The flickr group also allows those of you without blogs to participate! Go have a look see. Details are there.

I'm still going to list the weekly participants on my blog. Leave a comment when you have a picture and I'll add ya to the list -you know the drill. Thanks for making this so fun!

I've been tampering with my layout this weekend. I would never in 100 years guessed that I'd be editing html code in my spare time - that's what a great tutorial will do for ya. Not sure I'm liking it though. I've also been playing around with my banner. Think the whole layout needs more color or a more coordinated look. I welcome your comments and suggestions.

Yay! I'm glad that you've found a good tutorial for HTML. It's probably a million times more helpful than I can be just trying to help via comments and E-mail. :)

I'd say something that goes well with a nice pale green, as pale green seems to be the color that sticks in my head when I look at your blog. Maybe a light yellow or pink?

great idea with the flickr group! i've been meaning to serve up lunch in muffin tins to my kids - can't wait for their reaction. just bought two more tins (like i needed more) at a rummage sale this weekend - dollar a bag day, squeezed them in on the side of a full bag. thanks for the inspiration!

I'll have to check out that tutorial. I've always wondered how to do things like that but then I get worried--What if I destroy EVERYTHING?!? I can't say that we had our lunch in muffin tins today...but we did make m&m cookies in a muffin tin and they turned out quite yummy.

Wow! So much food, and most of it healthy. I'll make healthy food my goal for next week's muffin tin, I think. Great idea with the flickr group -- I'll take a look. And by the way I love your header pic -- it's charming.

I used yellow peppers this week too! But my camera batteries were dead. sigh. It was, however, the first time we did it for dinner so it wa the first time my husband saw the muffin tin. He was quite impressed. He had been wondering why the tins had been out so often with no muffins materializing....

We're a day late again, but this is definitely a hit in my house...one that gets an even better reaction than PB&J for lunch. :P

I've been serving my kids "snacks" in a muffin tin (they share it- like a baby buffet) for the last year after seeing it on a video with Dr. Sears.

I never thought of serving lunch it one! I love it. I'm gonna do it and take me a picture!!!

Love your blog, just found you thru someone else's blog. I'll be checking in regularly.

I just found your blog when I found a pic of the Muffin Tin Monday somewhere else! I love this idea! Can you tell me where you bought the veggie booty and exactly what it is? Thank you.
