Muffin Tin Monday

Good Morning! We used our tin this week to make English muffin pizzas. I was pleasantly surprised by how much my kids liked them - making & eating!

DId you put the mini pizzas in the oven and for how long? My kids would love to do a muffin tin this way!

I put the pizzas on a baking sheet in a 350 degree oven. I baked them long enough for the edges to get golden brown and the cheese bubbly. I didn't want the muffins to be "raw" Seemed to work fine, didn't get any complaints. I also contemplated lightly toasting the muffins first - but didn't. I bet a toaster over would be great for these -

Oh, give the kids a spoon to spread the sauce. They can spoon it on, then use the back of the spoon to spread. Works like a charm.

have fun!

Great idea to set-up the pizza toppings! We'll be doing that soon for sure.. Delaney had a little muffin tin breakfast this morning: http://lets-explore.typepad.com/weblog/2008/09/muffin-tin-monday---breakfast.html

LOVE the pizza idea! And I'm so happy I caught the heads up on next week's theme.

A simple one for my girls this week to try and get them into breakfast. It sort of worked.

Since my oldest daughter is now in all day kindergarten my youngest gets to have "parties" (her word for muffin tin lunch) all by herself.
