This SCRAPDOWN has proved to be a great catalyst for Bryce and I to get the remaining floor of our house unpacked and organized. Ummm, because I need a place to sew. And I need all my stuff. Sewing stuff. We refer to our 3rd floor as the loft. I'm pretty sure it's not really a loft, but more like a finished attic. It has sloped ceilings that are tall enough for Bryce to easily stand. Due to the chimney, it is divided into two sections. One section is for me! The other will be our guest room.
Here is my little cozy sewing area as it has been ~ a dumping ground for everything we didn't want to deal with. More ugly pictures here and here.
This is how it looks after just 1 hour of organizing. I love this space. It has a sky light. More pretty pictures here.
I'm sooo not a neat sewer or crafter. This is probably the only time this space will look like this. It'll be piled on soon. I would like to cute it up before I trash it, however. If that happens - I'll snap a pic and show ya.

I love your loft! It reminds me of my own. Do take the time to jazz it up so it really reflects your personality. There is something special about creating your own personal space!!
I love your space, too. Have fun messing it up. :) I'm going to make my own Charm Quilt since I missed your deadline. I wonder if I can muster up 300 unique blocks?!
So nice to have a space of your own. I love mine and being able to have it totally cluttered up without disturbing the rest of the house is the best part. ENJOY! I am jealous of the sky light, as I have NO windows in my room. BLECH!
Love your little corner. I'm a messy sewer too. But it keeps my creativity going to have my space decorated.
I do try and sort out my space regularly but... what would I rather do??? Spend a precious hour folding and stacking or actual sewing? The later usually wins, unfortunately. Nice to clsoe the door on the mess.
Ohhh - it is not all that nice to feel envy, but if it's in the good way, you know like: "I would also like to have...) - will it then be ok? It looks lovely!
I love your crafting space. It looks like such a cozy and inspiring place just for you!!! I'm a super messy crafter---hence the lack of craft room photos from me.
Nice space! Mine is currently non-existent...I'm looking for the perfect desk to re-do from a local thrift place. Love your skylight!
