Right Now: Late February

snickerdoodles
Watching . . . Band of Brothers. Amazing to be in the region where the Battle of the Bulge was fought. Must go back to the Historical Center in Bastogne. We just finished this series. Hilarious!

Making . . . Loads of granola. I think I've tried 5 different recipes. Haven't got it just right yet.

Cinnamon Swirl

Smelling . . . Cinnamon from the Snickerdoodles Audrey and I made.

Hoping . . . for lots of snow in the Alps!
snickerdoodles
Reading. . . Just finished this. Going to start The Help next.

Enjoying . . . my mornings in the forest.

Thinking . . . about our life here in Luxembourg.

Eating . . .no surprise here -GRANOLA - every morning with plain yogurt (the runny European kind!)

Snickerdoodles

Listening . . . to this Pearl Jam CD. It is really, really good. Also enjoying this recent purchase of Bryce's.

Coveting . . . an early spring.

Snickerdoodles

Where are you right now?

Love your happy post and snickerdoodles and Band of Brothers... and loved The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series... and I also read "The Help" afterwards... a much slower lilting book with tons to think about - love it!!! Meanwhile I totally have your Monday Blues from a few weeks back... I have bitten off more than I can chew in the decluttering department and have to get the house back together in a couple of hours... its Wednesday and the Mother in law comes for dinner... I wonder if we could just go out for ice-cream and call it dinner and everyone be in bed with the lights out by the time she gets here... and while I sleep, some fairies descend and donate everything we own and leave my house smelling like a batch of snickerdoodles... I can dream!!!

I read "The Help" reluctantly, as I always do with things everyone raves about. I was home sick with a cold recently and decided I would give it a few chapters, just out of fairness.

I liked it more than I thought I would. It still felt like a "first novel," but, heck, that's better than I'm doing.

I, too, read The Help right after finishing Hornet's Nest. I am working on Three Cups of Tea right now. I've been meaning to read it for awhile. Have you read Water For Elephants? Put it on your list too.

Dutch, I love these posts you do. What were the CDs? The link didn't go through. I enjoyed the Help! I listened to the audiobook. I liked the characters.

Here's mine:

Watching - JLo on American Idol and being in awe with her beauty and cool hair styles.
Making - cinnamon sugar pie crust cookies and mini statas in muffin tins for Linc
Smelling - Linc's giraffe blankies scattered through out the house to see which ones are dirty
Hoping - I can find a way to get regular exercise back into my routine
Reading - Cutting For Stone, The Gift of Therapy, ACT Manual for Clinicians, The Flddler in the Subway
Enjoying - how loving and affectionate Lincoln is with me, enjoying reading him board book after board book (and happy he loves books!)
Thinking - about starting a Blog called The Ten Minutes Inbetween as a way to connect with other therapists and explore my personal relationship to being a therapist
Eating - these yummy vegan pumpkin muffins that are only available Wednesdays at the Farmer's Market
Listening - to the new Dears album and Fireworks by Katy Perry over and over
Coveting - people that can be stay at home moms
