
These cuties have been on my mind since I saw the post. Pies in a jar. No joke. How clever is that? Finally gave it a go. The result: DARLING, tasty, unique, easy (with my short cuts), and will make the perfect gift - picture the jar tied with baker's twine. Friends, please act surprised and impressed when you receive yours.

Now for the true confessions: I used canned pie filling and frozen pie crust. It's the best I can do these days. My crust was a bit raw in places. My 2 year old helped me scoop the filling into the jars. See here.
