On Saturday we went to a Medieval Festival in Vianden with some friends. Inside the castle there was dancing to watch and birds of prey on display. Around town there were many booths of medieval inspired items for sale - costumes, clothes, jewelry, toys, and leather work. There was lots of great food to eat. All around people were dressed in medieval attire. It was great fun. We'll definitely attend next year too!I was thrilled that Eva and Audrey were able to see what "real" princesses looked like - not the plastic pink Disney variety.

They're here!! We just returned from lunch and gelato in the center!!
