The architect, Amy, who designed our kitchen is also helping us with some interior design around the house. I tell ya, it is money very well spent. Bryce and I don't know what we're doing. We know what we like when we see it, but we don't know how to "get the look" ourselves. This is where Amy comes in. She provides ideas and acts as a sounding board as we search for paint, furniture, and other accouterments. It is really a collaborative process but Amy keeps us pointed in the right direction.
One of the rooms in need of help was our master bed room. Bryce and I had not done *anything* to it beside paint it. Seriously, nothing - no curtains, pictures on the wall, headboard, side tables - nothing. Our bedroom is part of an addition we added to the house while I was pregnant with Audrey. 2 years later we moved to Lux, the bedroom still untouched. Amy looked at the space and suggested hanging wallpaper on the area behind our bed. Fun, right?
As I've found, choosing wall paper is time consuming and surprisingly it can be VERY expensive.
Take a look at the contenders below. I want you to do 2 things -
1) Tell me which one you like the most.
2) Tell me what one is the most expensive.
Glow Duck Egg by Prestigious
Rampura by Schumacher
Krysantemer in Gray
Antoinette by Dulux
Asuka by Osborne & Little

I'll give you some time to respond (please do!) and then I'll provide the links and names of all the wallpapers - including the price of the most expensive one. Shock, horror!

I vote for #1 , 2nd choice #5.
Most expensive - #1
I like #1 and think #2 is the most expensive (but I have never bought wallpaper so that is totally a guess)
I vote for #1 or #5. The 2nd one looks like it's handpainted, so i think it's the most expensive. Interesting!
#1 is my favorite. But have you thought of taking a photo from your Luxembourg experience (or travels when you were living there) and having it printed on wallpaper? You can play with size, have elements repeated,... Wouldn't it be great to wake up to one of your favorite memories right there on your wall?

#5 is my favorite and #2 most expensive
Ohh... I like #1,#4, and #5. I would hope to choose #4, but I would likely go with something "safer," like 5.
The most expensive...it's hard to tell, depends on the designer, doesn't it? #1?
I love Funny Tummies idea, btw.

And, oh, I forgot -- #5 reminds me of an Amy Butler fabric I have hanging in a bathroom window.
I love the colors.

I like #1 and #5. i think #5 is the most expensive.
My vote is for the third one, with the big purple flowers. Love it! No idea which is the most expensive.

I know which one is the most expensive, and to compromise I would choose, 5, or 4.
3 is my favorite (I love the purple) and I'm guessing either 2 or 3 is the most expensive one. 2 looks like it was printed with blocks rather than by a computer.
I LOVE #2, such a rich color but may be too much after a while.....I think the last one (reminds me of a lotus) seems calming and good for a bedroom. So, are you going to let us know how pricey this "wall art" is?
I like the one closest to the bottom. It is very soothing. You don't want to be in bed and can't sleep because the pattern on the wall is so busy. We once had a red bedroom left by the previous owners. Couldn't sleep! Have fun decorating.
